Welcome to the CLS web page for the 3rd and 4th grade recorders.  The purpose of studying recorders is to prepare students for continued instrumental performance in the school band program.  Students learn note reading, listening skills, hand coordination, and counting.

The students have a recorder class once a week in addition to their Kids of the Kingdom choir rehearsal.  We use the Recorder Karate curriculum in addition to the Recorder Express method.

The Joyful Noise Recorders perform in both the Christmas and Spring Concert.
