Introductory task:
Create a two to three minute presentation (pairs or groups of three) summarising your understanding of data analytics:
Define Data Analytics / Analysis and outline how & why it is a useful tool (provide one or two examples)
Explain where large data sets be sourced, and describe what considerations must be made when choosing data sets
Outline the hierarchy of four broad types of data analysis and evaluate the usefulness of each
Provide specific examples of considerations regarding data set choice and how this impacts the information produced by data analysis

Explore P5.js web pages and / or Phaser.io and / or other programming languages / environments (by negotiation) to determine your possible programming language / environments for your upcoming project.
By the second lesson, write a proposal describing the following:
A game or program that acts as a digital solution to a 'problem' of your choice or design
Describe the problem that the game/program is aiming to address
Outline the information that you will need to collate to determine the parameters of the 'problem'
Explain how your game / program is proposed to address your issue
Outline the specifics of your proposed game / program (variables, sprites, how it will operate etc)

Task: on One Drive, create a Digital Technologies Year 10 Semester 2 folder
All practice, skills development, 'tests', and project(s) will need to be placed in their own directories within this folder

Make your own 'online documentation' in One Drive (Word Document or other) to act as a core set of instructions/reference for programming throughout this semester.
This should serve you as a 'quick reference' to supplement the examples and information on our website and other online documentation.
