In this group, students will learn how to recognize their feelings and how to regulate them. Students will learn to identify new coping strategies to help them keep calm, “take a pause,” and express their emotions effectively.

In this group, students will learn to identify the effects of worry on the body, learn how to label worries, and practice strategies for managing stress.

In this group, students will learn healthy friendship skills such as conflict resolution, conversation skills, and respect. Students will practice these skills through activities and discussions to improve their interactions with friends and peers.

In this group, students will learn how to feel more confident and prepared for the upcoming school year. Students will learn how to cope with common school-related anxieties while learning new ways to help them reach academic success.

Important Registration Information:
Each week-long group session will run Monday-Friday. Exception: there will be no group on Friday, June 19th or Friday, July 3rd.
Group participants do not have to attend Westerville Schools to join groups at this location. Students do, however, have to be enrolled at one of our partner school districts - Gahanna, Groveport, New Albany or Westerville
Be sure you are signing your student up for a group that corresponds to their grade level for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
