Chers parents et élèves,
It is my pleasure to welcome you into the wonderful French community at Concord-Carlisle High School!
This is my fourth year teaching at CCHS. I will be teaching French 3H, French AP, Introduction to Marketing, and International Cuisine.
I have more than ten years of experience, teaching high school French at all levels (Level 1-5 & Advanced Placement- AP) as well as at the community college and adult schools in California. Before teaching, I was a French translator.
A little bit about myself:
I was born and raised in France and went to a well-regarded high school (le collège et le lycée Lakanal in Sceaux) near Paris.
In my post secondary studies, I obtained two "Baccalauréats"; one in Sociology and Economics and one in Maths/Sciences. I then pursued further undergraduate studies in Montreal, Canada: I obtained a Bachelor in Business (HEC Montréal) and a Certificate in French Translation (McGill University).
My teaching credentials and my M.A. in French were achieved through studies at SFSU
As you might have already guessed, I LOVE teaching, and especially French as I am very proud of my heritage. I will do whatever I can to meet student needs, fulfill your requests and make your child’s learning experience as enjoyable and rewarding as it can be.
I love to travel and want to share this passion with the CCHS community as well!
In 2022-23 and 2024-25, I was the travel leader and coordinated the French exchange program.
In 2023-24 and 2025-26, I was the travel leader and coordinated the Quebec trip.
In January 2025, I became the DECA Club Advisor and guided my students to compete at the Boston State Conference in March 2026.
Since Sept 2024, I became the South Asian Student Society Advisor at CCHS.
Since 2023, I have been the Concord Nanae Network Japan liaison coordinator. I was part of the recent Concord delegation traveling to Japan (June 2025) and I am eagerly preparing for our performance trip to Japan with the Music Program in April 2026.
On a personal note, I am the proud mother of two daughters (19 and 17) and a son (14). In my spare time, if I am not looking for new resources to make my classes more engaging, I enjoy running/biking, and I like baking and cooking.
Thank you in advance for your openness, support and cooperation. I look forward to sharing my native culture and language with our students.
