Mrs. Kohtala's 3rd graders learning about habit 1. They read the book, Soda Pop, by Julia Cook, then discussed what it means to be proactive vs reactive.
5th Grade Utilizing the Quality Tools
Mrs. Medema's class used the Lotus Diagram as a reading comprehension tool. The tool helped organize the text structure of the story they read, as well as recall key components of the text. They finished by making connections which habits the main character displayed throughout the story.
