School teams from all over the Compton Unified School District will compete to see who is most creative and who has the best programming skills. There are 3 Computer Science competitions this year: Scratch, Minecraft, and the App Challenge.

You are welcomed to enter one team into each challenge. Special guests from CUSD, as well as industry partners, will judge the projects to encourage CS concepts in CUSD.

PRINCIPALS can only choose one team per grade band from their school to represent in each competition. (i.e., If I have a middle school (band 6th-8th), I can choose one team for each of the 7 competitions=no more than 7 teams.). All students are welcomed to participate in any of the CS activities, but only those official teams may compete.
TEACHERS must organize a teams of ~5 students. If you put forward more than one team from your class, it is up for the Principal to make the call of which teams will compete.
STUDENTS can participate with their team of ~5 other students, from their Teacher's class, in one of the following 3 categories:
Elementary 3rd-5th
Middle 6th-8th
Secondary 7th-12th
