At Complete Systems Electrical Pty Ltd, we offer clear and competitive pricing with no surprises. Here’s a quick summary of our standard rates:

⚡ Standard Hourly Rates

• Domestic Qualified Electrician: $110 per hour +  GST

• Domestic Apprentice Electrician:  $45 per hour + GST

• Commercial Qualified Electricicain: $135 per hour + GST

• Commercial Apprentice Electricicain: $60 per hour + GST

• 19ft Scissor lift hire :  $180 a day + transport 

• 1.7t excavator hire  :  $250 a day  + transport
  
  

Minimum 1-hour charge applies. Billed in 30-minute increments after the first hour.

🌙 After-Hours & Emergency Rates

We understand that electrical issues don’t always happen during business hours. That’s why we offer reliable after-hours and emergency callouts across Melbourne.

Standard After-Hours Rates:

• 🔧 Callout Fee: $150 + GST
  
  

• 🕒 Hourly Rate: $140 + GST per hour (billed in 30-min increments)
  
  

• 📍 Travel beyond 25km may incur an additional fee
  
  

After-hours applies:

• Weekdays after 5:30 PM
  
  

• Weekends
  
  

• Public holidays

🚐 Callout Fees

• Local Area (within 25km of Cranbourne South): $80 + GST
  
  

• Extended Areas (25km+): Priced upon request
  
  

• After-Hours / Emergency Callout: $150 + GST base + hourly rate

✅ When we Charge a Call-Out Fee:

1. Unquoted Emergency or After-Hours Jobs
   
   

   • If a client calls you outside normal working hours (e.g., nights, weekends, public holidays) and there's no quote in place.
     
     

   • The call-out fee covers travel, time to attend, and priority disruption to your schedule.
     
     

2. Diagnosis or Inspection Jobs
   
   

   • When we are called out to inspect or diagnose an issue (e.g., power outage, tripping RCDs), but there’s no prior agreement or quote.
     
     

   • The our covers time even if no repair is done.
     
     

3. Customer Cancels After You Arrive
   
   

   • If we arrive on-site and the client cancels or refuses the work, you're entitled to a call-out fee to cover your travel and time.
     
     

4. Client Just Wants a Price On-Site
   
   

   • If they want a quote but expect you to come out first to look at the job in person (especially in-person quoting for minor works), we may charge a small call-out/quote fee.
     
     

5. Regional or Long-Distance Travel
   
   

   • If the job is far from your usual service area, and no fixed price has been arranged.
     
     

❌ When we Typically Don't Charge a Call-Out Fee:

• If we have  already quoted the full job and Won the job.
  
  

• For repeat customers or ongoing project work, unless it's a separate unscheduled visit.
  
  

• If the job is very local and small, and we are  trying to build rapport or we chhose not to as goodwill.
