Complementary Health and Therapies (C.H.A.T.) is a non-profit, volunteer-run community group that has been bringing people together for over 50 years. Our aim is simple:
To educate and promote healthy living choices; making complementary health and therapies accessible, understandable and enriching for everyone.
We host regular talks from experienced practitioners covering a wide range of topics- such as yoga, foraging, homeopathy, nutrition, stress management, manual lymphatic drainage and more.
Whether you’re curious about holistic approaches or already immersed in them, you’ll find a welcoming, fun and friendly community here.
Every other month, we invite a guest speaker to share their knowledge and experience. Talks are held:
in Ashtead, Surrey
via Zoom
Made available to all pre-booked tickets
Our speakers come from a wide range of complementary and holistic backgrounds, offering approachable, practical guidance for everyday wellbeing.
While online attendance and recordings are helpful for many, our community thrives when we gather in the room together. In-person talks offer:
A warm, uplifting group atmosphere
Space for conversation and connection
Refreshments and informal “nibblin’n’natterin’n’networking”
A chance to meet speakers and fellow attendees
If you can make it to Ashtead, we’d love to welcome you in person.
