Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and late cancellations hurt three people: you, your therapist, and another patient. Therapy sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes to an hour in advance and are a time reserved exclusively for our patients. When a session is canceled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another current patient, a patient on a waitlist, or a patient with a clinical emergency. This means that your appointment slot could have been filled with a patient who paid. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time. 

Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.

• • If cancellation is necessary, we require that you contact our office at least 24 hours in advance, PLEASE let our office staff know so that we will have time to fill your slot and can put another patient in your space that may need it.  Please contact us at (912) 292-1177 or send a text at (912) 592-1105 between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

  • We now require ALL patients to have a credit/debit card on file. If you miss or cancel an appointment without a 24-hour notice you WILL BE CHARGED A $60.00 FEE to your card on file. Insurance does not cover these fees. The only exception to this cancellation policy is if there is an emergency (Some examples of emergencies are car accidents, deaths in the family, or extreme illness). Work issues do not constitute emergencies. This cancellation policy also applies even if missing an appointment was an unintentional act. 

  • If you are a new patient you will be required to have a Payment Authorization Form on file before we can schedule you an appointment. If you do not fill out the form you will not be scheduled for an appointment.  

  • If you have two or more late cancellations or no-show/missed appointments within a 30-day time period it may result in a possible discharge. Additionally, please understand that therapy should be viewed as any other important medical appointment would be viewed.

  • Once you are schedule for your intial Inatke appointment, if you MISS TWO Intake appointments you will be put on a do not schedule list and WILL NOT be able to schedule another appointment with us.
