In order to run a credit check, you must use On Site. Instructions for this can be found below:
1. Log in to your On Site account. If you do not have an On Site account, please click here to request an account.
2. Once you are logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the homepage
3. Look for ‘Share Your Application Link’
3a. Highlight and copy your application link
4. Once you have copied the link, please paste and send the link to your customer via email.
5. Your client will be prompted to fill out their information (application) once they have clicked the link. Your client will enter their payment information and be charged for the credit application fee. You will also receive an email from On Site that your client has completed the application.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are representing a landlord, the application fee is $20. If you are representing a tenant, you are still able to charge the $80 application fee.
6. Once your client has completed the application and payment information, you will be able to view their report by logging back in to your On Site account and selecting their name under “View Recent Leasing Activity”
7. Click on the client’s name
8. Under screening, click View Screening
9. Check the box affirming you have read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page
10. Click Continue
11. If prompted with a warning sign, it’s ok, simply click view screening details
12. Done! You should have your credit report
If you have sent the client a copy of the paper rental application:
1. Log in to your On Site account. If you do not have an On Site account, please click here.
2. On the top left corner of the screen, hover your mouse over “Leasing,” then select “Begin New Application”
3. Enter all applicable information from paper application into “New Applicant Information”
4. On the Payment Options screen, enter the applicant credit card information.
5. Once your client has completed the application and payment information, you will be able to view their report by logging back in to your 6. On Site account and selecting their name under “View Recent Leasing Activity”
7. Click on the client’s name
8. Under screening, click View Screening
9. Check the box affirming you have read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page
10. Click Continue
