Kids and Mums Together Program 

Kids and Mums Together is a social work and occupational therapy program focused on supporting and strengthening children's relationships with their mothers which can be affected by domestic and family violence.  This 4 week multi-disciplinary program is offered to domestic and family violence services in the ACT. 

The program can be conducted in small groups or adapted and provided on a one-one basis with a child and their mother. There is no cost for participating in the program at this time because funding grant was received from the ACT Government (Women's Safety Grant) to assist in delivering the program.

*Building the relationship between children and their mothers

*Designed for children 12 years or under and their mothers

*The rights and needs of children are prioritised

*Child-safe and trauma-informed

*Activity-based

*Conducted by an occupational therapist/social worker
