For Learners
Exceptional Learners and Positive psychology;
Affirmative outcomes for ADHD, Gifted/Accelerated, Autism spectrum, and Neurodiverse Adults and Youth 10+
Gifted, accelerated, and neurodiverse learners have complex intellectual development, often resulting in unique social and emotional behaviors and needs. Nurturing the rapidly-changing development of exceptional learners provides exceptional joy and challenge for teachers, parents, coaches, and the students themselves. What are the conditions needed for diverse learners to flourish? How can these learners develop the tools to advocate for themselves when they struggle? This course offers insight into the science of positive psychology and human development, and the strategies we can use to promote and sustain well-being for students at a higher risk for anxiety and perfectionism.
