Where do I sign up for an event?

Right here! Though we will reach out to you with upcoming opportunities, you are also welcome to self-assign!

I took the onboarding training. Now what?

Awesome! Now you're ready to hit the pavement. Sign up for an upcoming event here. We also have optional trainings and opportunities available for activists looking to commit more time. Check out those skill builder trainings here.

Do I need prior volunteer experience to do this?

Nope! You'll be at any event with a staff member or seasoned volunteer. They'll guide you through the process!

Am I allowed to talk about political parties or candidates when I volunteer?

All of our work at CCMN is nonpartisan. That means we don't discuss parties or candidates in a manner that supports or opposes values, policies, beliefs, etc. What we focus on is holding power accountable and ensuring that our fellow Minnesotans have access to the information they need to be politically and civically engaged.
