This purpose of this page is to give you a comprehensive home for all things Digital Learning in Commerce ISD.
Buckle up. There's a lot to learn!
First up, fill out your new employee paperwork online. The Acceptable Use Policy will give the Technology Department (James Ferrell) the green light to create your network login credentials and your Google account. The information to access the network and your district email will be emailed within 24 hours to the personal email address that you used to fill out your new employee paperwork. At this time, you will now be able to login to your Dell laptop and your commerceisd.org email address. Please note the following:
Your laptop is located at your campus in the library. Your campus principal will need to check out the laptop to you if the librarian is not available to do so.
To login to your laptop for the first time, you must be in the district. If you take it home and attempt to login, you will not be able to do so.
Your network login credentials:
Username: first name.last name | Password: you will create this when you first login to your Dell

New Tiger Training

Google Classroom
Google Classrooms will be created the day before the first class day. They are auto-created and kept current by the OneSync nightly process with Skyward. They will be created in your cisdtigers.org Google Classroom then you will add yourself as a teacher with your commerceisd.org email address. Sound crazy? HERE is a video to show you how.
(Note: I will create new teacher cisdtigers.org Google accounts closer to the start of school so I can create everyone at once. I will email you your login password when I have created it.)

TCMPC
Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC) is the official curriculum for all core subjects. Your campus iCAT instructional coordinator, listed below, will assist you with creating a new TCMPC account during New Teacher Orientation.
TCMPC provides curriculum resources and support that assist you in teaching the most current versions of the State Board of Education-adopted TEKS for RLA/ELAR/SLAR, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The content in TCMPC includes curriculum components and sample unit assessment items to help ensure your teaching is aligned to the TEKS and covers them completely and accurately. You will have freedom to use our other curriculum support resources such as textbooks and other resources to teach your lessons.
If you need help planning with TCMPC or if you need help with all the acronyms associated with it (YAG, IFD, etc.) please reach out to one of these ladies on your campus:

Staff Google accounts end with commerceisd.org
Student Google accounts end with cisdtigers.org (Teachers will also have a cisdtigers.org account for Google Classrooms to be auto-rostered. Login information for this account will be emailed to your commerceisd.org account the week of inservice, if not sooner.)

If you assign a YouTube video to your class to watch, the video will need to be approved in the cisdtigers.org domain before they can watch it. Please submit a request through the Helpdesk in Eduphoria at least 24 hours in advance of assigning. Want to know more? Watch THIS.
I can also approve entire YouTube Channels if needed. HERE is a list of all of the approved channels.
