Dear Commack High School Faculty and Staff,

Welcome back for the 2025-2026 school year! We hope you had a fantastic summer filled with plenty of opportunities to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends!

It was a refreshing change to have quieter halls this summer, especially after all of the construction we have had over the past few years!  This allowed all of us to really get ready for the upcoming school year!  One special project that is being completed by our district facilities team is a new real life space- Our Living Lab!  We can’t wait for everyone to see the progress they have made and when it is complete over the next few weeks!

A huge thank you to Mike, Marc, and our entire custodial team. Their dedication to ensuring our building is ready is truly outstanding. Aside from their summer responsibilities they painted classrooms, completed projects around the building and are always ready for anything, big or small.

To our incredible clerical staff, your commitment to organizing and preparing for the year ahead, and frankly, for keeping our school running smoothly all year long, is valued more than you know.

Bill, Larry, and our security team have continued their work, maintaining the safety and security of both our staff and our building. Their consistent vigilance helps to always keep everyone at CHS safe and we are grateful for everything that they do!

We are also thrilled to welcome the newest members of our team, including those who are joining us or rejoining us from other departments, and those taking on full-time roles. Additionally, congratulations to staff members who have transitioned into new positions within our building!
