Here you will find information about when I am available for tutorials as well as when I am on duty and unavailable. As my subjects can have a lot of information to remember, I highly encourage students to visit me before and after school as well as during Falcon Hour to get that extra boost they need to be successful.

Tutorial Appointments
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I ask that students request an appointment for tutorial slots so I can accordingly plan to help them. However, if I am in my classroom on those days, with my door open, and there aren't any students that have requested an tutorial appointment, I welcome walk-ins! But if you know in advance you would like to speak to me or need extra help, please request it so I can make it a point to set aside time for you!

HCCPHS offers the Tutoring Center in the mornings where students can request that peers working in the center can help them on a subject that they are struggling with. Built within the Tutoring Center are volunteers who have strong writing skills. As all my subjects have writing and reading components, I highly encourage my students to utilize the Writing Center, especially before turning in written major grades! This center is extremely reminiscent of the Math and Writing Centers found in universities and is a resource I believe our students should take advantage of!
What is Falcon Hour?
What is Falcon Hour?
Falcon Hour is the period in which students have the time to grab lunch, study, go to tutorials, or meet up with their clubs and organizations. It is reflective of the time that college students have between classes and decide how to best utilize that free period. This hour is designed not only to help students hone their time management skills, but also gives teachers the ability to have targeted interventions and lessons. Students also can use this time to make up quizzes, tests, and any other missed assignments when they were absent.
It is designed with two lunch periods:
12:15 pm - 12:45 pm: A Lunch
12:45 pm - 1:15 pm: B Lunch
