• Economics Resources for Grades 3-8

• The Crow and the Pitcher (EconEdLink) - Students will learn about scarcity and how entrepreneurial ideas, managing natural resources and trading can help lessen scarcity.

• Open for Business (EconEdLink) - This lesson gives students the opportunity to identify risks and rewards of entrepreneurship and distinguish between entrepreneurs who start a business to produce a good or provide a service.

• The ABCs of Saving (EconEdLink) - Students participate in an activity in which they must distinguish between short-term and long-term goals. In a second activity, they discover that when they decide to save for a future goal, they are giving up the opportunity to buy something now.
