We know that how and when teachers plan has a significant impact on student learning outcomes.  In fact, according to John Hattie, planning has a 0.76 effect size on learning!  Effective teachers plan and deliver structured lessons which incorporate a series of clear planning steps. Our CCS lesson planning structures map the relationship between teaching and learning. Ultimately, we want to ensure that all teachers are supported in successful planning and instructional design.
