Bio

I was born in Whiteville, North Carolina. I moved to Miami, Florida when I was in the first grade. I am a graduate from Miami Southridge Senior High School in 1982 from Miami, Florida. I moved back to North Carolina and graduated from Southeastern Community College in 1986 with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Computer Programming Technology and again in 1995 with an Associate in Arts Degree in Pre-Teaching - Secondary. Later finished my teaching degree in 2002 at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelor in Science degree.

I helped begin the Parent Volunteer Program at Williams Township when my children were going to school there. I substituted, volunteered, and drove a school bus for Williams Township.

I am married and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I have a great love for teaching and love to see students grow in their education. My favorite subject is math.
