For College Reps

At this time, CCHS/CR and the Day/Night Fair committee primarily allow 2- and 4- year colleges and universities to participate in the fairs. Military academies may be permitted at a fair, but military recruiters are not. Additionally, we do not at this time permit career oriented tabling at Day/Night fairs. Questions or special requests? In partnership with Strive Scan, the Day/Night Fair committee offers the following pricing structure: 

Regular Registration July - September

• Colorado Council Members: $35 per fair.

• Colorado Council Associate Members (out of state schools with an in state regional representative): $60 per fair.

• Nonmembers: $100 per fair.

Walk in Registration: 

To the extent possible, please avoid walking in to a fair without registering in advance. Host sites may have capacity limitations and may not be able to accommodate. Reps that do not register in advance and show up day of to an event will pay $100 per walk in event regardless of membership tier.

Late Registration: 

Late Registration may be permitted on a case-by-case basis. Host sites may have capacity limitations and may not be able to accommodate late registrations. Reps registering after the regular registration rate closes will be subject to a $100 registration fee.

• Late registrations will not be permitted at sites that have reached capacity per host site stipulation.

CCHS/CR Day/Night Fair Rep Guidelines adhere to the NACAC Fair Exhibitor Guidelines. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in ineligibility to participate in future fairs. 

• Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of a fair

• Dress to best represent your school and wear a name badge. If provided a visitors badge by the host site, this should be visible at all times as well.

• No more than 2 representatives may staff a booth at one time.

• Recruitment and distribution of literature is restricted to the confines of the booth.

  • Reps must remain behind their table at all times.

• Colleges may have ONE (1) audio-visual display on their table.

  • Audio-visual displays should be kept minimal and at a low volume to avoid interfering with other reps or cause a distraction.

• Displays should not exceed 36 in high and 40 in long.

  • Avoid setting up displays in such a manner that blocks or obstructs sightlines to neighboring tables

• Demonstrations such as food preparation, mascots, drawings (raffles), competitions, or similar activities are not permitted.

  • Open flames, bhutane gas, oxygen takes, or other flammable substances are not permitted

• Aisles must be kept completely clear of materials and displays

• Items may not be attached to any structure in the host facility including columns, floors, walls, etc. 

• Swag items are not permitted other than pens/pencils and informational materials. 

  • Reps will be asked to remove swag other than pens/pencils, and information.

In alignment with Strive Scan, the registration fee for Colorado Council Day/Night Fairs, once made, is nonrefundable. This includes, but is not limited to extenuating circumstances in which a fair is cancelled by the host site due to inclement weather, safety concerns, etc. 

The Day/Night Fair Committee does not directly cancel fairs. Host sites maintain all decision making capacity as it pertains to hosting a fair. In the case that a fair is cancelled, the host site and fair committee will communicate with registered reps as soon as possible to notify reps of the change.
