Summer School on Random Matrix Theory and Its Applications

at the Ohio State University

Deadline to apply: March 15, 2023

The summer school will bring together leading experts, young researchers, and students working in random matrix theory and related applications.  Several mini-courses and lectures will be given on a variety of topics including asymptotic and non-asymptotic universality results, matrix concentration inequalities, invertibility, and applications to numerical analysis.  In addition, there will be some poster presentations by students and junior researchers.

Financial support is available, and priority will be given to graduate students, junior researchers, and other participants without travel grants.  In order to receive financial support you must register online and indicate on the registration form that you would like to request financial support. A registration must be completed before March 15, 2023 for full consideration. A current graduate student requesting financial support needs to confirm their status by asking their academic adviser to send a brief letter of reference by email to Hoi H. Nguyen

There will also be an opportunity for students and junior researchers to present posters, and participants can indicate their interest on the registration form.
