One project I am particularly proud to showcase is the app I have been developing with a fellow student at CU Boulder. Although this app is not up and running, the idea and base code are there and is in progress everyday. This app aims to put an end to music library difficulties by hosting a variety of platforms on one central app. Instead of having to switch between Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc; you would sign in to each one time and you could play whatever song you wish at a moment's notice. This app shows my skills in coding as well as security as the information for each platform needs to be tightly protected in order for it to be usable in the future.
In the future I aim to keep building apps as I believe technology is to make our lives easier and safer in every aspect, with this job I would apply my previous knowledge in order to provide security on a much wider range and higher level.
Another coding/app project I have been working on and is almost done being completed is a seller app. This app compares prices from all major companies and gives you the cheapest company and the best time to buy. Although not directly applicable to cybersecurity, the skills used to create this app are the same tools needed in cybersecurity. The problems faced in both of these projects are great examples of what is possible to overcome.
Another main project focus of WRTG 3045 was the Odyssey Plan report. I am proud of completing this project and the research I have done associated with it because of the application towards my future. I am still unsure of the path I want to take in life but having competed the Odyssey Plan Report, I feel like I am more prepared to take on future directions.
