Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, a Research Affiliate at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) and the Social Impact Lab, and a Faculty Affiliate at the Colorado Fertility Project. I am an applied microeconomist interested in topics in health, public, and labor economics. My research leverages policy shocks and natural experiments to estimate causal impacts related to family planning access, pharmaceutical prescriptions, sugar-sweetened beverage taxes, sleep loss, tobacco use, and other risky health behaviors.

Before joining the faculty at Miami, I earned my Ph.D. in economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, my M.S. at Drexel University, and my B.S. at James Madison University.
