I will start by identifying which areas of astrophysics excite me the most—whether it’s cosmology, planetary science, observational astronomy, or computational astrophysics.
Review Course Requirements:
I will regularly review my degree audit to make sure I’m meeting all the required credits and taking electives that fit my interests. I’ll meet with my academic advisor to ensure that I’m on track and that my course load will help me achieve my long-term goals.
Get Involved in Active Research:
CU Boulder is home to the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) and other cutting-edge research labs. I’ll actively seek out research opportunities, whether it’s through research assistantships or helping professors with their ongoing projects.
