Boulder's Indigenous Lands and History
The lands around Boulder have been inhabited by Indigenous peoples since time immemorial. Those who visit, work, and reside on these lands are encourgaed to honor the Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), Hinono'eino (Arapaho) and all other nations associated with the Boulder Valley, affirm their ancestral ties to their homeland, and acknowledge the history of mistreatment and forced removal that has had devastating impacts on their communities. More about Boulder's Indigenous history can be found at Visit Boulder.
