Travel Grants

The Career Workshop is pleased to provide travel grants to broaden the participation in the workshop. Students as well as junior faculty and researchers in computer architecture are eligible to apply. Students are encouraged to submit applications to both this workshop and to the MICRO conference student travel grants.

This support is made possible by the generous support from ACM SIGMICRO, NSF, IBM Research, Facebook and MICRO. The grants will partially cover an applicant's travel cost to Columbus, OH where the MICRO Career Workshop will be held.

Priority for travel grants will be given to women and minority applicants, with a particular emphasis on student presenters at the MICRO Career Workshop and early tenure PhD students.

Special funding will be provided for Companion Travel Grants to support attendees with disabilities or a parent of an infant less than one year old who cannot travel without the infant and a care provider for the infant.

Applications

Applicants are requested to submit the following information:

Contact information, including the name of the student's institution

Estimate of travel costs

Please send applications by email to the Student Travel Grant Chair, Hyeran Jeon (hyeran.jeon@sjsu.edu). Use the subject line "CWWMCA 2019 Student Travel Grant Application."
