Marriage License
You and your fiancé need to obtain a marriage license before your ceremony in the county in which your ceremony will be held.
Both of you should go to the courthouse to apply together in person. In most counties you will need to make an appointment in advance.
Every county is slightly different, so please refer to your county's website for further information. Here are the links to the counties closest to me.
Do Not forget to bring your license to the ceremony!! I will fill out your license that day and help you get all the signatures needed. Officiants incur a fine if the license is not filed within 5 days of the ceremony. Therefore, I will file your marriage license for you and share any tracking information. The county will send you your Marriage Certificate soon after, then you can get started on any name changes and status changes.
It works best to sign the license just prior to the ceremony, but if that isn't possible we need to attend it immediately after.
