Collingwood Admissions Ambassadors

Meet Our Admissions Ambassadors Team

This year our team is filled with passionate students and positive representatives of our Collingwood community. The Leadership team is made up of four grade 11 to 12 students. Our Leadership team guides an amazing team of student Admission Ambassadors from grades 8-12 who all provide warm, welcoming and informative tours of both the Morven and Wentworth Campus.

Meet our Leadership Team

As a member of the Admissions Ambassadors Leadership, Elaine is looking forward to building connections with new members of the Collingwood community and recreating the same welcoming memories she experienced when she first joined the Collingwood community in grade 6. She believes that the Admissions Ambassadors program is an excellent opportunity for passionate individuals to work closely together and share their unique experiences, which was what led her to join the program last year. In Elaine’s free time, she can often be found in the band room, where she enjoys challenging herself by participating and leading in many of Collingwood’s music programs. She is so excited to work with the Ambassador team and make this year the best one yet!

My name is Kai, and I am proud to be a lifelong member of the Collingwood family. I am deeply passionate about sports, education, and making a difference in my school and community. For over 5 years, I have been an active member of the Collingwood Rugby team, honing my skills and learning the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Additionally, I am an enthusiastic participant in the school's wrestling and cross-country teams, always pushing my boundaries and striving for excellence in every competition. Being part of the Collingwood Business Organization (CBO) has allowed me to apply my passion for business and innovation in practical, real-world scenarios, fostering my entrepreneurial spirit. As a 'lifer,' I have had the privilege of witnessing the school's unwavering commitment to academic excellence, character development, and fostering a sense of belonging among its students. I look forward to embracing new challenges, forming meaningful connections, and contributing my best to the vibrant Collingwood School community, and I look forward to welcoming you to the Collingwood family!

Hi my name is Kiersa, I am in grade 11 and I am one of the co-captains of the 2023-24 year for Admission Ambassadors. I came to Collingwood in Grade 6, and the amount of experinces, lessons, and memories I’ve gained from Collingwood. To name a couple things that I am involved in, I play senior volleyball, I co-run a service program that works with Special Olympics, and run the grade committee. I believe that these experiences contribute to my overall personal and academic growth. I am grateful for the support of my family, teachers, and friends who have played a crucial role in shaping my journey so far. Their encouragement motivates me to strive for excellence in everything I do. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!

Xiao Bo has been part of the Collingwood community since grade 3. Entering her 7th year at Collingwood, she has a handful of experiences that have led me to appreciate Collingwood's inclusive and welcoming community deeply. Last year, Xiao Bo joined the Admissions Ambassadors program because she wanted to help create the same warm and unforgettable experience for other families and students. This year, as part of the Ambassador leadership team, she hopes to continue building meaningful connections with new members of the Collingwood community. Apart from Admissions Ambassadors, Xiao Bo is also involved in various other parts of the Collingwood community, such as the debate team, field hockey, and the Ad Verum magazine. She is looking forward to a great year with the Ambassador team!

Fraser is a fun and energetic member of the collingwood community! You can usually find him playing trumpet with the Jazz Band, playing cricket with the school team, or working out. Fraser enjoys good movies, history, and fun facts. He's been a part of Admissions Ambassadors since grade 4! He's the current team captain of the Collingwood cricket team, lead trumpet in the senior and junior jazz band, member of the VYSO and a flight commander at 525 Cadet Squadron. He loves meeting new people and making friends. If you ever see him out and about, feel free to say hi!
