Ava, a Grade 12 Admissions Ambassador Captain, joined Collingwood in Grade 6 and has been part of the Admissions team since Grade 8. Over the years, she has grown into a responsible leader and has loved working alongside the rest of the Ambassador team. Her favourite part of the role is meeting prospective families and showing them the areas of the school that match their interests, introducing them to the many micro-communities that make Collingwood special. When she is not touring families, she is busy with her other passions as Model UN President, founder of French Club and History Club, director of Film Club, member of Senior Dance Company, and an actor in each school play. Although she is sad that this is her last year with the Ambassadors, Ava is excited to make the most of it and leave the team in great hands.

Fiona is proud to be a part of this year’s admissions ambassadors captain team as a grade 12 student leader. This year Fiona can’t wait to meet new students and introduce them to all Collingwood has to offer. Fiona has been part of admissions ambassadors since she started Collingwood in grade 8 and has come to learn the program and people well. Fiona has made many meaningful connections with perspective families and has learned a lot from her two years as an ambassador, and her year as a student leader. Outside of admissions ambassadors Fiona is involved in debate, girls rugby, Special Olympics, and is a dance leader this year. Fiona looks forward to having another amazing year with this year’s leadership team.

Diana is a Grade 11 Admissions Ambassador Captain who is eager to contribute to the Collingwood community. As part of the Admissions Ambassador Leadership team this year, Diana is honoured to represent Collingwood’s four strands: academics, arts, athletics, and service. Beyond the classroom, she is actively involved in Collingwood’s Social Impact Labs, running her own health lab and has been a member of the robotics team and science fair, and has taken part in many rigorous academic courses. Diana looks forward to welcoming new families and hopes to make the Admissions Ambassador program a warm and memorable experience for everyone involved!

Jaysen, a Grade 11 Admissions Ambassador Captain, joined Collingwood in Kindergarten and is proud to be a lifelong member of the Collingwood community. Over the years, he has developed his leadership and communication skills through his experiences at Collingwood. As the Founder of the Junior Medical Diagnosis Club and a member of the Science Fair Club and Public Speaking Club, he enjoys exploring his interests in science, medicine, and public speaking. Outside of school, Jaysen plays basketball, rugby, and fencing, where he has developed his teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. His favourite part of being an Admissions Ambassador is connecting with prospective students and families and sharing his experiences at Collingwood. Jaysen is excited for the opportunity to welcome new families, share what makes Collingwood special, and collaborate with the Admissions Ambassador team.
