For students who are currently working in or are interested in working in learning organizations or settings where learning is facilitated in schools like - adult education, workforce development, community education - your interests might lead you to roles in educational leadership, literacy & learning science, community-based education, youth development, or intergenerational learning. Your CU degree, along with the major in Organizational Leadership and Change, may give you the exact leverage you need to grow in your desired field. Some of you may want to explore graduate school opportunities for more specialized learning opportunities. For example, students interested in school social work may want to pursue a masters degree in that field. Similarly, students interested in educational policy may want to pursue a masters program in education policy or urban education. There are so many opportunities for continued learning in the broad field of education after completing your undergraduate degree.
For students who want to pursue roles in Education not requiring a teacher certification- such as school support staff, administrative roles, policy & advocacy work and more.
Depending on the role, some students will only need a BA degree, while some students will need to attend graduate school after CU (post-BA) for a Master's in a non-teaching educational field- such as Social Work, Urban Ed Policy etc.
