Manna Food Center serves Montgomery County Residents by providing fresh and shelf stable foods at different sites throughout the county. Manna does operate on a referral system but partners with many accessible referral sources in the community. The Montgomery County Family Justice Foundation provides family violence prevention resources.
Montgomery County Crisis Center Help Line provides immediate responses to crisis situations for all residents of Montgomery County. The Crisis Center provides free crisis services 24 hours a day/ 365 days a year. Services are provided by telephone (240-777-4000) or in person at 1301 Piccard Drive in Rockville (no appointment needed).

Pro Bono Counseling is a non-profit organization that offers free mental health services to individuals, families, and couples who would not otherwise have access. Maryland residents with limited resources are provided free mental health counseling by volunteer licensed mental health providers. Pro Bono Counseling will also connect residents to other free or low-income providers if they are unable to meet your needs.
Consumer Credit Counseling Services 1-800-431-8157 https://credit.org Non-profit, full service credit counseling agency and debt management service. Helps you assess and prioritize your debts, establish a pay-off plan, and develop financial goals. Online education including videos, webcasts, financial calculators, and a blog. They offer many free services, but some counseling may require a nominal fee, however, these fees are eligible to be considered for a waiver.
Gaithersburg Financial Wellness Coalition 301-258-6300 www.gaithersburgmd.gov/services/communityservices/bank-on-gaithersburg Offers monthly financial workshops in Gaithersburg that focus on basic banking, spending plans, women and money, financial planning, and more. Bank on Gaithersburg works with local community organizations and financial institutions to help Gaithersburg residents gain access to free or low cost bank accounts and take steps toward financial freedom.

-- Water: WSSC Water has enhanced their programs & pay plans to provide financial assistance to more customers. Options include customizable payment plans, up to $500 in emergency assistance from The Water Fund and more.
-- Internet: Your household may qualify for internet access for as little as $9.95 per month. Comcast Internet Essentials, RCN Internet First, & the Verizon Federal Lifeline Program are offering options that can help you get and stay connected to the internet.
-- Broadband Assistance: The federal government offers assistance paying for broadband internet access through its Affordable Connectivity Program.
-- Identity: Identity assists more than 3,000 in-school and out-of-school youth & their families who live in high-poverty areas of Montgomery County & who are most at-risk for poor academic & economic life outcomes.
