College Park Academy Families--
As we close out the first quarter and head into the final days of October, we want to thank our students and staff for their continued hard work and commitment to excellence. This week marks the end of Quarter 1 on Wednesday and the start of Quarter 2 on Thursday—an excellent opportunity to reflect on progress and set new goals for the next marking period. Let’s finish the quarter strong, Phoenix family!
We are excited to announce that our Middle School Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting our annual Fall Harvest Dance on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, and we need your help to make it a success!
How you can support
Parent Volunteers: We’re looking for parents to assist with setup, food distribution, supervision/chaperoning, and cleanup.
Donations: 100% of the food and drinks served will be parent-donated—so we welcome snacks, beverages, decorations, and other supplies to enhance the experience. Please note: All food and drink must be store-bought.
Tickets: Tickets are available now; only 125 tickets will be sold, so act quickly!
Volunteer & donation commitment: If you are able to contribute any way, please let us know by Monday, November 3, 2025. Your support makes a huge difference!
Important Volunteer Protocol
To ensure a safe and positive environment for our students, the Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) requires that volunteers complete the necessary background screening process. Here is the link with full details: PGCPS Volunteer Process Prince George's County Public Schools
