Click here--> Community Resources for Students and Families
We know that many in our community are experiencing challenging times, and we want to help connect families with the support they need. We’ve gathered a list of county and state resources available across Maryland that offer assistance with food, financial needs, and mental health services.
Just so you know, these programs are provided through county and state agencies, not directly by our school. We encourage families to use the links included to reach out to service providers for more information or assistance. Remember, help is available—and you are not alone.
Please take a few moments to fill out the PGCPS annual publicity release form for your student (click here). Normally, we send this out in the beginning of the year, however, we just received the most up to date version from PGCPS late last week. Welcome to the first full week of the second quarter!
Tutoring
We are incredibly excited to partner with PGCPS to offer On Demand Tutoring powered by BrainFuse! See below on this page for more information-- students can access through their Clever account!
Jamaica Hurricane Relief Drive
We are sharing an optional community service opportunity led by one of our graduates, Brianna Malcolm (Class of 2023), who is organizing a Hurricane Relief Donation Drive to support families in St. James, Jamaica, impacted by the recent storm.
With school approval, a donation box has been placed in the front lobby for families who wish to contribute. Participation is entirely voluntary.
Acceptable donation items include:
Non-perishable foods (rice, canned goods, pasta, etc.)
Baby formula and hygiene items
Toiletries, feminine products, and first-aid supplies
Towels, bed linens, cleaning products, and related essentials
Please note: No monetary donations may be collected on school property.
All collected goods will be managed, transported, and distributed by Brianna and her volunteer team.
Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our alumni in meaningful community efforts.
