2019 Cotterell Court Lighting Upgrade

The project replaced 20 double and 27 single 400w metal halide high bay lighting fixtures and 9 compact fluorescent (42w CFL) high bay lights with 56 dimming 227w high-efficiency LED high bay fixtures. The GRLF loaned $57,000 to complete this project with expected returns of $11,400 in electricity savings and $2,572 in reduced maintenance costs. This project will also increase lighting to NCAA Div 1 levels. This project will be fully repaid to 120% in 6.0 years and will reduce our campus carbon footprint by an estimated 72 tons.
