2017 Townhouse Natural Gas Conversion

Project Overview

The project converted all the fuel oil boilers and hot water heaters to natural gas. The existing boilers are approximately 13 years old, about 75% of their life expectancy, and operating at about 80% efficiency. The new natural gas system will increase efficiency, reduce annual energy costs and reduce our overall carbon footprint.

The GRLF financed this project for $375,000. We expect about $40,600 in annual savings and about a 200 ton reduction in our campus carbon footprint.
