The Russellville FFA Chapter serves over half of the Russellville High School population with over 100 FFA members strong. Our members live in the Russellville, Lohman, and High Point areas and in all rural areas in between. FFA and Agriculture Education are one and the same. We strive to learn about Agriculture while also building all the necessary skills to be successful adults.

We were awarded much funding for needed food science supplies.
We will write and apply for four grants for funding various Agriculture Education and FFA needs Update: So far we have applied and received funding to plant fruit trees on campus and provide food to assist in stocking our Athletic Food Pantry and the whole student body and received funding to offset the cost of FFA dues and provide all members with a shirt.
We will plan and implement four activities in our FFA Program of Activities that focus on RHS school climate and culture. Update: members provided hot chocolate and cookies as an incentive in December to students at RHS/RJHS for reducing missing assignments. Our chapter organizes and distributes “Positive Notes” to all students that teachers fill out, and the students are provided a piece of candy as well. Members used funds in their committee to buy brand new winter clothing for students in the school who need the Indian Closet, offering FFA incentives for students who assisted at our annual school carnival.
