Either begin writing your story rough draft and make margin notes (or Google comments) to indicate the following: Setting, character desire and major dramatic question, rising action (obstacles and victories in the search for the desire), the climax that answers the major dramatic question, and the new normal.
-OR-
Map out a design of the story you plan to write that includes a brief description of: Setting, character desire and major dramatic question, rising action (obstacles and victories in the search for the desire), the climax that answers the major dramatic question, and the new normal.
1.
Choose a story from the PACKET & read it. Choose WISELY. Stories are organized into categories you helped me brainstorm last class! Take some time to look through the entire packet before you choose one. If you don't like the one you chose, look some more and choose again.
2.
Complete story notes for the story you chose. Notes are on the back of the story assignment page.
3.
Go to Google Classroom and complete the slide deck to SHARE the gist of the story with others.
4.
Share the story AND RETURN THE PACKET TO THE FRONT TABLE! THEY ARE NOT YOURS TO KEEP!
