Hi Folks,
Welcome to AP Biology, this is going to be a great year. In order to hit the ground running there are a few things that I'd like you to do between now and late August. The first will get you thinking about science, the second will get you ready to analyze data, the third will get you understanding what organelles do and how they work together to keep your cells alive, and the fourth will help you understand the scope and connectedness of AP Biology to your life.
This is a challenging class and first impressions are important. Please take note of the due dates and complete assignments in advance of those dates so that if you have questions you can contact me through e-mail. This class is set up so that you are responsible for accessing information and trying to make sense of it before I explain it to you, for that reason you must be responsible and reasonably self directed in class. These summer assignments are a chance for you to prove to yourself and me that you are ready to take on AP Biology. If you are on my roster but I don't recieve summer assignments I will assume that you are not planning to take the class.
I have created links for the summer work below, some of those links lead to video tutorials. Watch them.
