Course Offerings

Business and consumer mathematics- designed to build upon previous knowledge and skills to solve a variety of arithmetic problems that are

commonly found in personal and business financial situations. Students develop the skills necessary to solve mathematical problems, analyze and

interpret data, and use data to make sound decisions in business and personal financial situations. Topics include taxation, savings and investments,

credit management, cash management, and financial statements. 


CTE Lab in Business Management and Administration -is designed to enhance the student’s general understanding and mastery of the cluster. This course is designed as a learning laboratory to support students’ individual interests and goals. This laboratory may take place in a traditional classroom, in an industry setting, or in a virtual learning environment.

The Career Preparedness - focuses on three integrated areas of instruction-academic planning and career development, financial literacy, and technology. Course content ranges from college and career preparation to computer literacy skills to ways to manage personal finances and reduce personal risk. The area of technology is designed to be interwoven throughout course instruction. Mastery of the content standards provides a strong foundation for student acquisition of the skills, attitudes, and knowledge that enables them to achieve success in school, at work, and across the life span. 

Banking class- The bank is a real first metro bank put in the school to give students a real life experience opportunity and it can also certify them to work in the bank.
