Steps for Change Scholarship
Due: May 3, 2024
Amount: $2,000 (Renewable for 4 years)
Requirements to Apply:
Be of legal status in the United States
Be a current high school senior expecting to graduate in 2023
Be in the process of applying to, or accepted to, a college or university
Have a household income of less than $55,000*
Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
One letter of recommendation
A one-minute video answering the question: How would you value yourself?
Maricruz Trevino memorial scholarship
Due: MAY 1, 2024
Amount: Laptop
Requirements to Apply:
1. Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher
2. Enroll in an accredited institution of higher learning (community college, private university, UC/CSU, or trade school) for the fall semester following graduation
3. Open to all Orosi High School Seniors

Mr. Sergio Martin Memorial Scholarship
Due: May 3, 2024
Amount: $TBD
Requirements to Apply:
For students to apply for this scholarship they will need to write a 1 page maximum response, double-spaced, on the following topic: What does speaking a second language mean to you?

Jose Quevedo Scholarship
Due: May 3, 2024
Amount: $1, 500
Requirements to Apply:
Enroll in an accredited institution of higher learning (community college, private university, UC/CSU, or trade school) for the fall semester following graduation.
Open to all Orosi High School Seniors, including AB540 students.

Lucelva Saldivar Cerda Memorial Scholarship
Due: May 8, 2024
Amount: The scholarship award amount will range from $500-$1,500
Requirements to Apply:
A personal statement detailing your journey, including challenges you have faced, how you have demonstrated resilience, and your aspirations for the future.
Please submit a physical copy of your scholarship to Ms. DeLeon no later than May 8, 2024 by 4:00 P.M.
