If programs aren't loading or things are running slow, the #1 tech tip is ... restart your device and restart it. In many cases, this will clear up issues. When you restart the Chromebook it receives the most recent updates. Restating your device is different from using the power button, signing out, or closing the lid. Here's how to restart your device:
On your Chromebook, at the bottom right, select the time.
On the panel that opens, select Power.
From the menu that opens, select Restart.
When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites. Read the support article linked below to learn how to clear your cache.
On your computer, open Chrome Chrome.
At the top right, click More menu (3 dots) and then Clear browsing data.
Ensure the Time range drop down is set to All time.
You do not need to delete your browsing history, but leave Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files checked.
Click Clear data.
Should the above steps not resolve the issue, report the issue to the main office so that an IT ticket can be submitted on your behalf. If you can include a picture of video that shows the issue, that will help IT narrow down the cause of the issue and help you more quickly.
