When you open and power on the Chromebook, you will see a screen that prompts you to connect to a network.
Select your home wireless network from the list.
Next, you will be promted to enter the password (if one exists) for your home wireless network.
Be sure to type it in correctly. You can click the eye icon to show the password as you type.
Once you've entered the correct password, click on the "Connect" button
If you don't enter the password correctly, you will see the words "Bad Password" displayed at the bottom in the red.
Enter the student username where it says "Enter your email"
This will be the first 4 letters of the first name + first 4 letters of the last name. Ex. Matthew Simpson = mattsimp
Once the user name is entered, click "Next".
Next, enter the password. You can click on the "eye" to ensure it's being typed correctly. Once entered, click "Next".
Once logged in to the device, it will be disconnected from WiFi. On the bottom right corner, click the "fan" icon to reconnect.
Click on the "Not connected (No networks)" icon
Choose the network that you connected to initially.
District IT Staff can only provide assistance with the district network.
If these instructions do not work, you will need to call yout Internet Service Provider (Spectrum, Fios, etc.) for further assistance.
