Adele Dummermuth is a current senior at Coe studying creative writing and rhetoric. She has been published in Empyrean Literary Magazine and always loves a good haiku. 

Aj Jensen

She/They

Aj Jensen is a junior double majoring in Political Science and English. They love playing Animal Crossing and drinking coffee. She is excited to work hard to help make The Pearl a success!

Rowan Hesford

She/Her

Rowan Hesford is a sophomore here at Coe who shoots for the Archery team and teaches at an elementary school! Rowan enjoys bike riding, hiking at state parks, as well as building plant models!

Magdalynne Preuss is a sophomore at Coe who plays on the Women's Soccer Team and runs track.  Magdalynne is majoring in creative writing and interdisciplinary sciences, along with minoring in chemistry and biology. She enjoys reading, painting, and going on hikes.

Peyton Bryson is a junior at Coe who is a member of the Softball team. She loves to shop, get her nails done, coach youth softball, and spend time with her friends. 

Arianne Maxwell is a senior at Coe. She is majoring in English and minoring in Secondary Education and Theater, as well as teaching endorsements in 6-12 English/Language Arts and Speech & Theater. She is spending her last semester at Coe student teaching and hanging out with her beloved roomates and fiance. 

Katie Kerlik is a junior triple majoring in English, creative writing, and philosophy, and minoring in Asian studies. When not in class, she works at the writing center and relaxes by playing video games.  

Courtney Rhinehart is a senior majoring in English and Creative Writing. She enjoys playing the piano and cuddling with her dog. 

Shannon Grogan is a senior at Coe College who is double majoring in Social & Criminal Justice and Environmental Studies. She is on the executive board of four different campus clubs and spends a lot of her time in the CWC as a writing center consultant. She has a cat named Shadow who she loves dearly. 

Riley Swanson is currently a junior majoring in economics and political science. He is enjoying his third year reading for the Pearl. He loves discovering the unique poetry and creative writing that Coe students submit. 

Madyson Meyer is a freshman at Coe who is a part of Air Force ROTC and the writer of the Cultural Discourse Column on the COSMOS, as well as a few other campus club involvements. Madyson is a huge MotoGP fan, a professional photographer/videographer, and she's often found at punk and goth concerts around Cedar Rapids.  

Kyra Philips is a senior psychology and criminal justice major who has been involved in a variety of campus organizations, including Women's Soccer and Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. She enjoys spending time with friends, creating art, and learning new things! 

Lizzy Sanchez is a freshman and is on the Women's Track Team. Lizzy loves to read, make gem paintings, and anything to do with animals.
