MATHEMATICS
Math and Data Science
Data Science careers have a wide range of math skills needed to do the job:
The good news is that math is a skill, not something that you are born “good” or “bad” at. While there are some learning disorders that affect mathematical learning, like dyscalculia (similar to dyslexia, but with numbers), it doesn’t affect most of the population.
If you’ve had trouble learning math in the past, it is very possible that it was being taught in a way that didn’t click with you. Try looking at different learning sources to see if there is something that works for you.
See our resource links. It covers everything from reviewing the basics to expanding your knowledge to an advanced level.
