The Community and User Engagement Department (CUE) aims to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with diverse community organizations at a local and regional level. Their mission is to enrich library services that promote early literacy, lifelong learning, community and business engagement, and quality of life initiatives that truly benefit the residents of Cobb County while ensuring excellent customer service
The CUE department includes four key areas: Communications, Community Engagement (Outreach), Customer Service, and Virtual Services. They provide guidance, motivation, and assistance to library staff across the system to pursue similar opportunities in their respective areas of operation.
Furthermore, the CUE team oversees systemwide outreach initiatives and partnerships, as well as print and digital media and marketing for the library system. They create marketing materials, manage social media accounts and content, and produce articles and newsletters that showcase library events, programs, and initiatives.
