Explanation of Emulation
Plot/Structure: I used the progression of events that drive the story forward, such as the introduction of the setting, characters, and the conflict at the beginning of the piece. I did that because it effectively establishes the initial framework for the mystery to unravel and sets the tone for the events that will transpire at Blackthorn Abby.
Characters: I used the element of characters because it is prominent throughout the narrative, especially in the development of the diverse cast of individuals who play pivotal roles in the mystery. By incorporating characters effectively in the narrative, the piece creates a rich tapestry of personalities that interact and clash within the confines of the mysterious setting, adding layers of intrigue and complexity to the unfolding events.
Word Choice: I decided to use word choice because it plays a crucial role in conveying the tone, style, and the overall meaning of the piece. In this particular piece it helped give more information about the characters, and it described the erie feeling of Blackthorn Abby.
