Agatha Christie
Agatha Christie was educated at home by her mother. She started writing detective stories in her early twenties, and her first novel,"The Mysterious Affair at Styles," was published in 1920. Christie is best known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those featuring Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. She passed away in 1976, but her books continue to captivate readers worldwide.
