Hello, Washington Elementary families! My name is Mrs. Bravo, and I'm honored to serve as your School Counselor. This year marks my 8th year in this rewarding role, and I couldn't be more excited to work with your students!
I earned my bachelor's degree in Public Health Policy and Chicano Latino Studies from UC Irvine, and my Master's degree in Educational Counseling along with my Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential from the University of La Verne. When I'm not at school, I'm a proud mom to three very busy girls who keep me on my toes!
My goal as an educator is simple: to help every student achieve success in school and in life. My priority is to support students and families with whatever you need. When things feel overwhelming or out of control, I'm here to help you learn and practice new strategies to get back on track and feel confident about facing any challenge ahead.
I focus on three key areas:
Academic Achievement – helping students reach their full potential
Career Support – exploring future possibilities and goals
Social-Emotional Development – building the skills needed to become productive, well-adjusted citizens
I want our students to keep a few important things in mind:
Be kind to others and yourself.
Be respectful of your teachers, staff, classmates, and our school.
Be responsible and make good choices that help you grow and succeed.
Everyone has the power to make this year amazing—not just for yourself, but for those around you. Let's commit to making positive choices every day and supporting each other along the way.
Let's make it a great one, Eagles! You've got this!

I am here for YOU!
