MISSION:

It is our mission to ensure that every student in our program has the opportunity to succeed in getting accepted and enrolled in a two or four-year university, a trade school or career college, or have a means of being ready for their future outside of high school through the guidance, support, commitment, empowerment, and motivation of every AVID staff member.

You should expect from every AVID staff member:

• Guidance: We guide our students on the right path so they can be successful academically and emotionally.

• Support: We provided our students with ANY support necessary so they can focus and concentrate their efforts on achieving the tasks at hand.

• Commitment: We are fully committed to EVERY student in our program to ensure that they are successful in every aspect of their life.

• Empowerment: We empower our students to be disciplined, independent, self-sufficient individuals, with the necessary tools and skills to advocate for themselves.

• Motivation: We motivate our students to continue striving to reach their dreams in spite of any circumstances or obstacles life may throw at them.
