The purpose of athletic training services at Norco High is to prevent, evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries related to physical activity while promoting overall health and performance. It integrates principles of medical care, injury prevention, biomechanics, and rehabilitation to ensure athletes and physically active individuals can safely participate in sports and exercise. Additionally, sports medicine professionals educate and advocate for injury prevention strategies, proper conditioning, and overall wellness.
I have been a certified athletic trainer since 2022. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science & Allied Health Professions from California State University, San Bernardino, and my Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from California Baptist University. During my graduate studies in 2021, I completed an internship at Norco High School, where I immediately connected with the school’s supportive community, dedicated athletes, and collaborative environment. That experience made it clear to me that Norco was where I truly belonged. I’m passionate about educating the next generation of healthcare professionals and take great pride in watching students explore and grow within the diverse field of sports medicine. I look forward to the opportunity to meet your student, whether it’s in the classroom or out on the field, and to support them in their journey of learning, growth, and development within sports medicine.
