I am an associate professor in the department of psychology at Christopher Newport University. I am also a faculty member for the university's Masters in teaching program and Center for Education Research and Policy. Previously, I worked as an elementary school teacher and my background in elementary education is a driving force behind my research. My research interests include teacher well-being, development, motivation, and effectiveness.
