Charles Tuttle, a resident of Minot, North Dakota who describes himself as an activist citizen, will challenge Dem-NPL candidate Mac Schneider and Republican Kelly Armstrong for a chair in the house of representatives. Tuttle submitted more than 1,300 signatures to the secretary of state's office to get on the ballot.
Tuttle is listed as an independent and is a President Trump supporter who carries around a copy of the Republican platform.
He has collected thousands of signatures to place multiple measures on ballots in several states over the years. Gathering more than 1000 signatures to earn a ballot spot was a familiar project for the Minot, ND resident.
He considers himself to be one of the most politically experienced people on the ballot, given his long-time interest and involvement in the political process, even though this is his first run for office.
